"The Ice Ripper"
This item has a great light weight feel once you put them on.
Ice skate as long as you can with these puppies on because you will not even feel them on your feet. There great! I only gave them a 4 star rating do to the extra flappy tongue that is very hard to lay right on your foot in the inside of the boot. Also, what ever size you wear make sure you get a size bigger so you have a bit of extra room for your toes to wiggle and if like me, like to put an extra pair of socks on for cushion. Other then that, it has a great sleek look that'll have heads turning while on that ice. Baby!

The sizes run small on this -- I wear a 9.5 to 10 shoe and bought a size 11 skate which fits just right. I haven't skated on sharp blades for over 20 years -- it's great(I didn't pay for the extra sharpenning and they are plenty sharp).
The boots could be a bit more comfortable especially the upper tong -- but as they break in they are getting more comfortable.
I also bought the girls skate for my daughter that is basically the same model and just paid for shipping one time as sold by skatebuys through amazon with one checkout.

The quality is not as I expected for figure skates, but this should be good enough for recreational skating. I was a figure skater before and expect the boots to be thicker and more protective for ankles when jump landing. I won't use this skates to try Axel jump. I noticed the skate blades to be little bit longer on my #10 size shoes, for the frame mounts on the heel endpoint. The blade edge comes with protection plastic cover, it could be reused to protect the edges. The edges are sharpened in good condition, no need to pay extra sharpening. The boot length size is ok and width is indeed fit in a narrow way, it could be treated as an advantage of this skates if you choose the right length since width fit makes you more well control on ice. In terms of "cost", it worths to buy this one instead of using rental skates if you go skating for a several times. For experienced figure skater, you'd better choose higher grade skates than this one.

Just perfect. make sure to order one size smaller than your shoe size. I wear US 9 in regular shoe size and ordered size 8 and I am completely satisfied. Will order a couple more for my son and daughter.
